Who Can Take Lotrel?

Contraindications

Your reaction to Lotrel can change if you have kidney disease that is or was treated with dialysis, if you have congestive heart failure, if you have liver disorders, or if you have diabetes. Your doctor should be informed of these and any other medical conditions you may have. You may need to have your dosage adjusted or possibly be changed to a completely different medication.

Lotrel is a prescription drug. Pregnant women or women who plan to become pregnant shouldn't take this medication because of the potential for birth defects.
